Do You Remember Your Success

Do You Remember Your Success

Wednesday, January 1, 2020

Remembering your success is so important and healthy. If we go about our day and spend time being hard on ourselves. We are emotionally stacking ourselves for failure. This makes it harder and harder for success to break through the noise and instead you have to fight through those feelings of inadequacies to motivate yourself to something outside of the norm. This is when you start to play it safe instead of playing to win.

Sometimes you play it safe because your most basic human need has become about creating safety and security. There is security in knowing an outcome, even if that outcome isn’t what you truly desire. You will keep creating the same type of outcome just to ensure that you feel safe.

For instance, if you tell yourself that when you try something new that it never turns out well for you. You will find ways to create the outcome that is most familiar and comfortable. The likelihood of you having success with something new is low – because you have already convinced yourself beforehand that the outcome won’t be positive.

If it is known in the world that when you focus on the negative that you end us seeing more negative – then the opposite is true as well. For instance, if instead you have convinced yourself that 98% of the time when you try something new that it always goes well for you (if that is what you truly believe in your heart) – you will have more wins than losses. More successes than failures.

This starts with seeing that you have success and calling it what it is. It isn’t luck, it isn’t fate, it isn’t being in the right place at the right time. It is you.

Action: Take a look at the success list that you have created and feel the success. Go through each memory, of every time you have created success in your life and remember the feeling of that success. Write down what it feels like for you when you are successful. Where do you feel it in your body? What does it look like? Is there a color you can associate with your success? Do you have a stance or a movement you can create that represents your success? Make that movement now!

Creating success can be simple if you know the process to follow
