Have you ever felt out of energy? Have you ever woken up in a bad mood?

You aren't alone. Many of us, especially now given COVID-19 can get down and have our mood effected.

I have found that in order to be the best version of yourself, you not only have to feed your body but you also have to feed your mind. What does that mean? Well, what we put into our bodies - much like what we would put into a car, fuels us to propel forward and have the energy to attack the day. What we often ignore is that we also need to provide the same fuel for our minds. if we don't, we can get stagnant and start to let self limiting beliefs take over.

So now, that you are perhaps starting to come out of sheltering in place (or maybe still sheltering based on your area) how do you prepare yourself to have the right frame of mind to keep yourself healthy?

Try this exercise:

Make a giant circle on a piece of paper. Draw lines in the circle that break it into 8 sections. The title of these 8 sections are:
‚Äč

  • Career
  • Health
  • Money
  • Romance
  • Friends and Family
  • Personal Growth
  • Fun and Recreation
  • Physical Environment


Color each of the sections with how FULL you think these areas of your life are. How complete are they? If this was truly a wheel or tire of a car, how bumpy of a ride would it be?
